A political opinion poll shows that Manx residents believe the Isle of Man Government handled VAT negotiations with the UK poorly.
The Manx People Power survey has revealed nearly half of those surveyed thought talks with the UK were poor, compared with 17% who felt negotiations were good.
Four out of five feel the Isle of Man has been treated unfairly.
The majority are in favour of a referendum before accepting the new deal with the UK, and this feeling is strongest amongst the 16 to 24 age bracket.
Hugh Davidson is behind the study, and explains why he feels the youngest voters have the strongest feelings on this issue [play clip]
