TT star's broken leg finally healed

Record breaking TT rider Ian Hutchinson is a step closer to returning to racing.

He's announced via Twitter that his broken leg is healed and he's due to have his external metal fixator removed in the first week of September.

Hutchy made history in 2010 by winning all five solo races in one TT, but broke his leg after a bad crash at Silverstone last September.

He's spent ten months with extensive metalwork around the leg to help it heal, and was forced to miss this year's TT
