The Treasury Minister insists there are job opportunities on the Island, despite another increase in unemployment.
The Job Centre was notified of nearly 600 vacancies during July, with over 300 still available at the end of the month.
Anne Craine says a rise in unemployment is a seasonal trend in July, with university students returning to the Island looking for work.
She insists job availability on the Island is still strong.
Unemployment increased by 44 last month, taking the number of people out of work to 890, or 2.1% of the economically active population.
