Transcripts from the Transvaal Manx Association in South Africa have gone on display in the Manx Museum.
The minute books and financial accounts were brought to the Isle of Man last month, and are now available for reference use and enquiries in the library and archive at the museum.
The association was formed in 1899 to help Manxmen who found themselves sick, distressed or incapacitated whilst in South Africa and the surrounding area.
In 1996 it became known as the Manx Association of Southern Africa.
The association's president brought the documents to the Island as part of the World Manx Association centenary celebrations.
