Summer lessons for new high school pupils
Mon, 01 Aug 2011
Some of the lessons will be held at Ballakermeen High School
Over a hundred school pupils are attending extra lessons over the summer.
Isle of Man secondary schools will be opening their doors for week long schemes to give students due to start high school a headstart in key subjects.
The Department of Education and Children says the classes are aimed at pupils who've struggled with literacy or numeracy skills in the past.
It's hoped the additional support will help the students before they start secondary school in September.
