The government says it wants to help create new employment for staff who'll lose their jobs at finance company Credit Suisse.
It's thought there'll be around 40 redundancies as the firm scales down it operation in the Isle of Man.
The Department of Economic Development is optimistic for the funds sector though.
There'll now be a big push to market the Island and promote what it has to offer the industry.
Government Advisor John Spellman hopes this will bring opportunities for Credit Suisse workers.
