Early results published from a political opinion poll show people have quite strong views when it comes to the election of a Chief Minister.
The Manx People Power survey is currently being carried out on the Island ahead of the general election.
It's a private exercise being funded by finance and marketing expert Professor Hugh Davidson.
At the halfway point, the survey has found that nearly 90% of people think prospective MHKs should publicly declare if they plan to go for the Chief Minister's job.
Roughly the same number of those surveyed think that politicians wanting the top government job should take part in public debates to talk about their policies.
People were also asked who they think should be the next Chief Minister, but the answers haven't been clean cut and we'll have to wait until the full results are in to find out.
