Queens Road works get underway

Resurfacing works get underway in the south of the Island today.

Queens Road in Port St Mary will be one way between Fistard Road and Athol Street, with temporary traffic lights and a reduced speed limit also in place.

As well as resurfacing the road, the Department of Infrastructure will also be reconstructing the pavements.

Queens Place will be closed for times during the works as the road there is to be reconstructed.

The DoI is thanking the public for its patience and co-operation in advance.
