Holidaymakers are being reminded to check their passports before booking any last minute vacations.
The Isle of Man Passport and Immigration Office says its currently taking around six weeks to process passport applications.
July and August are the busiest months for the office.
The passport office does offer a five day and one day express service, but there are extra charges for these.
Anyone planning on heading abroad is advised to have at least six months remaining on their passport.
