Organisers of the Manx Grand Prix says there's been an increase in the number of riders entering this year's event.
They've accepted 519 entries compared with 469 last year.
The newcomers, the modern races and the classics have all seen a boost in entrants.
The increased number of newcomers is partly put down to the Mike Hailwood Foundation bringing potential riders over to see the mountain course for themselves.
The first practice session for the 2011 event gets underway on Saturday 20th August
