It has cost over £60,000 to answer political questions in the House of Keys, Legislative Council and Tynwald during the last political year.
Statistics show 697 questions were asked in the three branches.
A survey by the Chief Secretary's Office calculates that it costs £89.30 to answer each question.
It's also estimated that answering a question takes over three hours.
Over 40% of questions were asked by Onchan member Peter Karran, with his queries costing over £26,000 to answer.
The figures were revealed in a written answer by the Chief Minister in this month's Tynwald.
