Michael Dunlop set a new lap record at the Southern 100 last night.
He set a time of 2:16.213 (112.324mph).
Dunlop pipped Guy Martin to victory in the opening race of the event.
Martin, on the TAS Suzuki, had led most of the way, but Dunlop's Kawasaki went up the inside on the penultimate corner on the last lap.
Cameron Donald was third on the Wilson Craig Honda.
In the sidecars, Klaus Klaffenbock and Day Sayle had been expected to dominate, but they were made to work for their victory.
They were pushed all the way by the Yamaha of Ian and Carl Bell, and the Honda of Simon Neary and Jason Crowe.
There are four more races tonight, with all solo classes in action
The roads on the Billown Circuit are due to close at 6.05 this evening, re-opening no later than 9.40.
