Man still being questioned on suspicion of attempted murder

A Douglas man is still being questioned by police on suspicion of attempted murder.

The 22 year old was arrested after a man was found seriously injured in Athol Street yesterday morning.

The 61 year old was discovered by a member of the public at around 7.15 at the corner with Church Street.

He remains in hospital after undergoing surgery.

There's no further update on his condition.
