Driver showered in glass after man punches window

Police are investigating after a man punched the window of a van, covering the driver in glass.

The incident happened at Market Place in Ramsey at around 11.45 last night.

The man, believed to be in his early 20s, stood in the road refusing to move out of the way of the van before punching the drivers door window.

He then ran towards the quayside.

The suspect is said to be slim with dark short hair, and was wearing a black or dark grey polo shirt and jeans.

Officers at Ramsey Police Station would like to speak to anyone who witnessed what happened, particularly two men who spoke to the van driver immediately afterwards.
