Advice is being issued to cyclists after two recent accidents resulting in serious injury.
The injuries have been sustained on remote parts of the Forestry Estate.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture says cyclists can ride through many parts of its 28,000 acre estate, but that they must avoid hills and glens.
DEFA urges cyclists to plan ahead before setting out, tell someone where they're going, carry a mobile and ride within their own ability.
Both of the recent incidents resulted in emergency rescues of the riders involved.
