Tribute has been paid to the Tynwald President at his final sitting.
Noel Cringle plans to retire and has announced he won't be standing for the post again next month.
He was first elected to the House of Keys 37 years ago.
During his politcial career, he's also been the Keys speaker, a member of the Legislative Council and has served on over 50 select and standing committees of Tynwald.
Current House of Keys speaker Steve Rodan, Chief Minister Tony Brown and Leg Co Member Eddie Lowey all spoke in tribute to Mr Cringle at the end of this month's sitting.
Mr Rodan said his presence in Tynwald court will be missed adding, "For a job well done, we salute you."
Following rapturous applause from politicians, Mr Cringle was presented with a replica sword of state.
