Police search for school child after £200 goes missing

Police are looking to speak to a school child after £200 went missing from a cash machine in Douglas.

The money disappeared from an ATM on Prospect Terrace last Monday at 2.45 in the afternoon.

The funds were withdrawn but didn't appear immediately, and were later collected by the young child, believed to be wearing a Ballacottier School uniform.

Officers want to speak to the child to find out what happened to the money, so it can be returned to its rightful owner.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Lord Street Police Station.
