The Department of Economic Development is announcing plans for the civil service to work closer with the private sector.
It's hoped the creation of the Public Private Initiative will allow for more co-operation between the sectors, ultimately allowing the Island to bring in more money.
The new approach will see the need for contractors to be brought in, and some activity outsourced to the trade associations.
The Department believes these changes will bring the Island in line with other leading business centres around the world.
The aim for the next two years is to showcase the Island's reputation, commitment and expertise
