Police seek witnesses to serious crash

Police are trying to trace a group of bikers as they look for witnesses to a serious crash on the Laxey to Ramsey Coast Road.

A bike passenger was badly hurt at the Hibernia junction in Maughold yesterday afternoon.

The crash involved two cars and two bikes.

The road was closed for four hours while police carried out an investigation at the scene.

Officers want to speak to a number of riders who pulled out from the Hibernia Road and headed towards Laxey, right before the crash.

One of the riders was a woman, but no further descriptions are available.
