There've been differing opinions from TT riders as to whether or not today's Supersport race should have started.

The start was delayed due to rain in the morning but then was run around 1.30 after a parade lap.

However, more showers fell as the race leaders were out on their second lap.

John McGuinness didn't think road conditions were good enough to have started the race anyway. [Play media file below]

However, Conor Cummins said the start conditions hadn't concerned him.[Play audio file below]

Michael Dunlop had been leading the race when it was red flagged, with brother William in 2nd.

William said it would have been good if they could have finished top two.[Play media file below]

The Supersport, Sidecar and TT Zero races have been rescheduled for tomorrow.

The Mountain Road will close at 11am, followed by the rest of the course at 11.30.

Racing will get underway with the Supersport 2 at 12.15pm.
