The Motorsport Development Team says it will try to minimise the length of time TT marshals have to stay on the Mountain after practices and races.
The statement comes after complaints from some volunteers about the length of time they have to stay in post.
Marshals have to arrive at their positions before their colleagues on other parts of the course, due to the Mountain closing earlier than the rest of the circuit.
They then have to wait after the session has finished for a convoy to arrive before they can leave via the one-way system.
On Tuesday, when the session was called off due to a fatal crash, marshals on the Mountain were left waiting until it got dark before they could leave.
Some have threatened not to volunteer to be positioned on the Mountain section in future if the problem isn't solved.
