Some goods vehicles, motorhomes and minibuses will be able to drive faster on the Island's roads from next month.
The Department of Infrastructure is increasing the speed restriction on a number of vehicle categories from June 1st.
The DoI says advances in vehicle technology means these types of vehicle are now capable of being driven at a higher speed.
Large buses, coaches or goods vehicles weighing more than seven and a half tonnes are not including in the changes.
The plans follow a public consultation by the Department on the matter.
