NW200 paddock evacuated after security alert

A security led to the North West 200 paddock being evacuated.

At around 12.20pm racing was suspended whilst the situation was assessed.

Shortly after 1pm, riders were called back to the grid in preparation for the Superbike race.

Reports suggest a coded telephone message was made, leading to police searching the paddock area.
