The promoters of the failed Isle of Man Bay Festival hope they'll be able to return with another event next year.
Organisers say they may be able to arrange another festival next year if the Island's economic climate improves.
It was confirmed yesterday that this year's event has been cancelled due to poor ticket sales.
A statement from the promoters blamed the Isle of Man Government for not supporting the festival.
Ticketholders must apply in writing to IOM Bay Festival Limited, PO Box 1234, Peel for a refund by June 17th.
Organisers say those who purchased tickets for this year would be given a special reward next time.
Promoters of the Elton John concert due to be held in the same venue have confirmed that gig will still be going ahead.
