The Isle of Man Bay Festival is to be restructured due to poor ticket sales.
Organisers say the event is costing £1.5million to stage the event, and that if more tickets aren't sold the festival won't be viable.
Yesterday, speculation was rife that the event had been cancelled, with many concerned ticketholders contacting Energy FM asking what the situation is.
The promoters say the two previous festivals have both made losses, and are concerned there's no future for such an event on the Island.
A further announcement on the restructuring will be made next week
