Cannell raises questions in HoK

Public sector pensions, breast surgery and PE lessons are amongst the topics being discussed in the House of Keys this morning.

Douglas East MHK Brenda Cannell will ask Education Minister Eddie Teare to reconsider his decision to withdraw access to the NSC for Douglas primary schools.

The move effects some schools more than others, as several Douglas schools have no playing field.

Mrs Cannell will also ask the Health Minister about plans to appoint a general surgeon with an interest in breast care, and question the Chief Minister over the gender gap in public sector pensions and retirement pay.
