Teachers on the Island aren't moving closer to strike action, despite a report in a local newspaper that says otherwise.
A teacher's union has come forward to say there's been a misunderstanding and its members won't be asked to vote on whether or not to strike.
It's only UK members of the NUT and the ATL that will be asked to take part in a ballot.
According to the Isle of Man branch of the Association of Teachers and Lecturers, the disagreement is with the English government and it's about changes to pensions.
Even if they vote in favour of strike action, lsland teachers won't be involved in the walk out.
The pension changes would affect them though as the schemes here are in line with the UK.
