Unions says they're taking a positive and open minded view of plans to change the way the government employs its workers.
Plans to create one single employment body for all staff are out to consultation.
At the moment workers can be employed by a number of different bodies including the Whitley Council and the Civil Service Commission.
President of the Isle of Man Trades Council Angela Moffatt says they'll be finding out what their members think of the idea but they're in favour of positive change that will benefit the Island.
Miss Moffatt says there is one thing that worries her about plans.[play audio file below]
