More funds needed for future of Jurby airfield

Further income at Jurby Airfield will be needed to keep the facility available for use in the future.

The airfield is currently managed by Jurby Sports and Leisure Limited.

The Department of Infrastructure has extended the contract for the organisation to manage the facilities for a further twelve months.

However, the DoI says the range of activities on offer needs to be expanded to allow investment in the facilities at Jurby.
