A company run by the Island's wealthiest man is to buy Pinewood Shepperton film studios.
Peel Holdings, owned by John Whittaker, has the backing of the Pinewood Shepperton board.
The take-over will cost £96million, and is expected to be completed in June.
The studios have been used for numerous successful movies included the James Bond and Harry Potter franchises.
Mr Whittaker's company had faced a rival bid from businessman Mohamed al Fayed
Peel Holdings recently sold the Trafford Centre for £1.6billion.
