Ramsey death teenager named by police

Police have released the identity of a teenage girl who died in Ramsey at the weekend.

17 year old Tanya Louise Hughes was found unconscious at an address on Ormley Avenue on Friday evening.

Paramedics tried to resuscitate her but she was declared dead upon arrival at Noble's Hospital.

Miss Hughes was from Gladstone Avenue in Ramsey.

A 35 year old man who was at Ormley Avenue was arrested and questioned by police, and has since been released on police bail.

Forensic investigation are underway trying to establish a cause of death.
