Law president to give evidence to bill committee

The President of the Isle of Man Law Society will give evidence to a committee looking into the Criminal Justice (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill this afternoon.

 

Jason Stanley will be questioned by the House of Keys Committee examining the Bill.

 

Advocate Kevin O'Riordan will also be giving evidence.

 

The Committee was established after concerns were raised over some of the clauses in the Bill.

 

The evidence will be taken in public from 2.00pm in the Legislative Council Chamber
