Anderson to make statement on Langness

An update on the situation with the Langness footpaths could be imminent.

 

MHK David Anderson is due to make a statement in the House of Keys on Tuesday.

 

The matter's been through the courts after a number of people, including landowner Jeremy Clarkson challenged attempts to have some paths made public rights of way.

 

It was back in court last month and a ruling is now awaited.

 

Whatever that ruling is, it can still be appealed against.

 

Mr Anderson was the Transport Minister when the inquiry to determine public access was held.
