Traffic wardens working for the Department of Home Affairs are to be transferred to the DoI.
They'll join the Department's Parking Controllers, although the traffic wardens will still have more enforcement powers like they do now.
Tynwald has voted in favour of the change.
Only three members were against the move.
The Department of Infrastructure is trying to create a central policy for enforcing parking and tackling problems.
