Minister wants better facilities for bus passengers

The Minister for Community, Culture and Leisure says it's a disgrace that there's no proper bus station in Douglas, but the issue is beyond his control.

 

The terminal in Lord Street disappeared 10 years ago and plans to redevelop the site have been long and drawn out.

 

The government is close to signing an agreement with a developer, which plans to build a hotel.

 

David Cretney has been answering questions about bus services in Tynwald today.
