There are going to be job cuts in the government's tourism division.
One of the posts that will be lost is the Director of Tourism.
It's currently held by Rod Nipper, who has been in the position for just over a year.
15 other posts will go as the Department of Economic Development begins reorganising tourism following a review.
Minister Allan Bell says half of the 30 current staff will either be made redundant or redeployed to different areas of government.
Another change following the review will be the transfer of the Sea Terminal Welcome Centre to the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure.
Marketing for tourism will shift to a central group within the DED, which will also market other areas like e-gaming and the ship and aircraft registers.
