More talks will be needed between the Isle of Man Post Office and the Communication Workers Union.
Yesterday, it was confirmed that the parties had reached an agreement to call off next Tuesday's strike.
However, the Post Office says talks will still be needed to reach an agreement over pay.
The CWU is unhappy its members weren't given a pay increase, but the Post Office insists it can't because of the Government pay freeze.
The Union represents around half of the Post Office's staff
