Theft from honesty box

Police are looking for a thief who stole money from an honesty box in Baldrine.

The cash was taken sometime yesterday from Gelling's Farm just off the Main Road in Baldrine.

It's one the few honesty boxes left on the Island, and as the name suggests they rely on people's integrity.

Police say whoever took the money obviously has no conscience and has seen an opportunity to gain from people's good will.

Anyone with information is asked to call Onchan Police Station.
