There be no standard postal deliveries to homes on the Island next Tuesday.
The Post Office has set out its contingency plans for strike action.
Priority is going to be given to getting mail to businesses.
Companies in the main business areas in Douglas and the rest of the Island will get their post at some point during the day.
For Premium services like Special Delivery and Parcelforce it will be business as usual, however there could be time delays.
All staff will return to work from 5.30am next Wednesday when they'll try to catch up on the backlog.
Workers are striking after being refused a pay rise they believe they should be entitled to.
Management at the Post Office say they can't increase wages because of a government pay freeze.
