Anglers are being reminded that they need a licence if they intend to fish in the Island's rivers.
The river fishing season began last week, and heavy fines can be inforced if fishermen don't get the relevant documents before fishing.
A licence to fish in Manx rivers from now until the end of October costs £57, and is available from DEFA's offices in St John's, Post Offices and through the Government's website.
Last month, an angler was given a fine and costs totalling £275 for fishing without a licence, as well as being disqualified from holding a licence for 12 months.
