An MHK is raising the issue of breast cancer in the House of Keys tomorrow.
East Douglas Member Brenda Cannell wants to know how many people have been diagnosed in the last six months.
Mrs Cannell has been a critic of planned changes to the Island's Breast Cancer care service.
The Department of Health wants to replace a dedicated breast surgeon with a general surgeon who would also carry out other operations.
There's been criticism that the care offered won't be as good as it is at the moment.
However, the Department of Health believes it's an enhancement of the current services.
It says the new surgeon would be highly skilled in dealing with breast surgery and be able to take pressure off existing consultants
