Government HR staff moved to one office

Government is to move all its Human Resources staff into one Department.

The Office of Human Resources is being formed in St Andrew's House as part of the Transforming Government project.

The Government says the move will increase efficiency and effectiveness.

The first staff to move will be from the Personnel Office, and the Departments of Social Care, Health and Community, Culture and Leisure.

The plan was approved by the Council of Ministers last year.
