Construction works are underway for a new reservoir in the north of the Island.
The Isle of Man Water and Sewerage Authority says the new reservoir at Glen Auldyn will serve around 5000 properties.
A new reservoir has also been commissioned for Ballagawne, as the current facility has reached the end of its useful life.
The old reservoir has been decommissioned, and demolition is underway.
The water authority says the two new reservoirs will hold 1.5million gallons of water.
