The preliminary report into the Manx2 air crash in Cork found no major mechanical faults with the aircraft.
Investigators have also said no problems were found with the airfield in Cork.
The Metroliner crashed last month on its third attempt to land in thick fog.
Six people, including the two crew, were killed. Six were injured.
The Irish Air Accident Investigation Unit is continuing to look into the factors which caused the loss of control.
The engine and propellors are to be sent for examination and the experience of the flight crew will also be looked at.
The full report is expected to take a number of months to complete.
