Ideas to regenerate and tidy up Laxey have gone on display to the public today.
People from the community and visitors to the village were asked to give their opinions on what could be done to improve the area.
Money will be allocated from the government's Town and Village Regeneration Fund.
Issues that came up included untidy footpaths and buldings, as well as the long distances between attractions like the beach and the Laxey wheel.
One idea that came about is for a shuttle bus service to connect different areas of Laxey.
The regeneration proposals are on display at the Working Men's Institute until Saturday afternoon.
Caroline Bull says one thing Laxey village is missing is a focal point. [Play audio file below]
