The Council of Ministers is looking into the structure of the Isle of Man Office of Fair Trading's Board.
A consultation has been launched to see whether changes should be made to the constitution of the authority.
Currently the board is made up of a chairman and vice chairman, who are both members of Tynwald, and three persons who aren't members of Tynwald.
All appointments are made by CoMin and approved by Tynwald
Full details of the consultation can be found on the Government's website.
