The average cost of filling a home heating oil tank has risen by nearly a hundred pounds over the last year.
900 litres of oil now costs around £545.
It's an increase of nearly 22% in the last 12 months.
The figures were provided in the House of Keys by Chairman of the Office of Fair Trading Bill Henderson.
Mr Henderson said the factors that influence the price of heating oil are outside of the control of the government and the Island's distributors.
