A Ramsey Commissioner is concerned by the phone system at MEDS after conducting a survey of those who use the service.
Leonard Singer spoke out about the telephone not being answered earlier this year, and has now written to Health Minister David Anderson regarding the matter.
Mr Singer says he received 58 responses to his survey, with claims it took one woman three hours to get through on the phones, and another saying she no longer bothers ringing MEDS and instead calls an ambulance.
The local authority politician also wrote to Director of Health Strategy and Performance, Norman McGregor-Edwards, who said a survey would take several months and that patients may be unhappy with change.
