A man remains in a serious condition after being struck by motorcycle in Castletown.
The 63 year old has now been transferred to hospital in the UK for treatment.
The incident happened at around 19.40 on Friday night in Victoria Road, near to the Sidings Public House.
The vehicle involved was a blue scooter being ridden by a 48 year old man from the south of the Island.
The road was shut for around 3 and half hours whilst police carried out their investigations.
Officers say they have already spoken to a number of witnesses but would still like to hear from anyone with information.
