Shamed former businessman Trevor Baines is to be sentenced today after admitted stealing hundreds of thousands of pounds from a trust fund.
The former tycoon's wife Wendy also pleaded guilty to obtaining 40,000 pounds by deception.
The pair had been due to stand trial in January but changed their pleas to guilty at the last minute.
Sentencing was put on hold until after the trial of their advocate Jenny Holt for dishonesty offences.
Miss Holt acted for the Baineses during previous criminal proceedings.
The money stolen by Mr and Mrs Baines was to pay for their legal fees.
30 year old Miss Holt from Union Mills denied handling the stolen funds, but was found guilty of money laundering and two counts of falsifying documents.
Miss Holt and Mrs Baines are currently on bail, while Mr Baines is serving time at the Isle of Man Prison for previous offences.
